Job description

At Carz R Us, we’re looking for a skilled Transmission Rebuilder who takes pride in doing the job right the first time. This is a transmissions-only role — no general repair distractions, just consistent, high-quality rebuild work.
If you’re experienced, dependable, and want a shop that respects your skillset, we want to talk.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Diagnose, tear down, rebuild, and reassemble automatic and/or manual transmissions
  • Perform complete transmission swaps when needed
  • Identify worn or damaged components and ensure proper replacement
  • Deliver clean, reliable builds that meet shop standards
  • Keep your workspace organized and efficient
What We’re Looking For
  • Solid experience rebuilding transmissions (5+ years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and/or import systems
  • Ability to work independently without constant oversight
  • Own basic tools (specialty tools provided)
  • Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in their work
