Job description

Location: Lake City, FL

Days/Hours: 12 HR Rotating Shifts - 2/2/3 Scheduleย 

Equipment Used: Forklifts, Conveyors, Transfer Pumps, Railcar/Trans Loading Equipment, Hoses, Portable Stair Systems

Material Handled: A variety of bulk liquid and dry products.

Here is what you will be doing:

  • Daily unloading of materials consisting of a variety of bulk liquid and dry products
  • Understand and follow operating procedures and policies
  • Operate rail car loading systems and equipment
  • Perform work safely and productively
  • Accurately fill out all necessary paperwork
  • Assist with other duties within the facility (general maintenance, landscape upkeep and painting)ย 

Requirements of a successful Equipment Operator:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalentย 
  • Perform general maintenance on equipment
  • Capable of learning how to operate and maintain rail car/trans loading equipment (e.g., Hoses, transfer pumps, portable stair systems, small to medium sized equipment, etc.)
  • Travel to other transload terminals to assist when necessary; may be for up to a week at a timeย

  • Climb up and down rail cars/ladders safely
  • Carry at least fifty (50) pounds
