Spanish/English Translator Food Production Facility
Location: Newcomerstown, OH
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Training on 1st Shift (9:00 AM 5:30 PM), then transition to 2nd Shift (3:00 PM 11:00 PM), Monday through Friday. Overtime may be available on Saturdays.
Job Summary:
A growing food production facility in Newcomerstown is seeking a reliable and bilingual Spanish/English Translator to support communication between employees and management. This position plays a vital role in ensuring clear communication, assisting with employee training, and helping maintain a productive and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide accurate verbal and written translation between Spanish and English.
Assist supervisors and managers in communicating policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and work instructions.
Support new employee orientation and training.
Help employees understand workplace expectations, production goals, and company policies.
Translate documents, forms, and notices as needed.
Serve as a liaison between employees and management to resolve communication barriers.
Assist with employee questions and concerns in a professional and confidential manner.
Maintain a positive and team-oriented attitude while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Fluent in both Spanish and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Previous translating, interpreting, manufacturing, or food production experience is preferred but not required.
