Job description

Yext is seeking an outstanding Associate Marketing Operations/Automation Manager with the skill and work ethic to both strategize and execute as part of the GTM Engineering team at Yext. Reporting to the Manager, Marketing Operations, you will own the email channel for Yext end-to-end - including the customer onboarding programs, product release communications, multi-language drip campaigns, and the event email motion - while growing into broader marketing operations responsibilities over time. The right candidate is adept at running a reliable, high-volume execution engine, partnering closely with marketing, product, event, and partner teams , and leveraging AI to continue to scale the channel. What You'll Do
  • Own end-to-end execution of global campaigns, ensuring scalable, repeatable program delivery across email, paid search, webinars, events, and ABM.
  • Execute the end-to-end email development pipeline (build, QA, deploy, localize) for all campaigns through the Marketing Automation Platform.
  • Build and maintain campaign infrastructure, including workflows, templates, and processes that enable scale and consistency.
  • Coordinate email localization efforts with EMEA reviewers and translation partners.
  • Drive data-driven iteration of the email program by tracking engagement, deliverability, and pipeline contribution.
  • Drive continuous campaign optimization through A/B testing, performance analysis, and insights that improve engagement, conversion, and ROI.
  • Pilot AI-aware patterns and automation (e.g., prompt-driven drafting) within the email workflow, and partner with GTM Engineering to replace manual steps (e.g., list-upload automation). Help migrate our tech stack to an ai-native, future-proofed stack.
  • Communicate complex deliverability and list-quality issues clearly to non-analytical stakeholders.
  • Manage compliance and database hygiene tasks including GDPR, opt-in management, unsubscribes, invalid/suspended records.
What You Have
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3+ years of marketing automation, email marketing, or marketing operations experience (Marketo marketing automation platform preferred).
  • Hands-on execution depth in a major marketing automation platform, including segmentation, smart campaigns, dynamic content, and deliverability mechanics.
  • Curiosity about automation and AI tooling, with an eagerness to upskill into Clay, n8n, and LLM-assisted workflows.
  • Experience supporting Product Marketing, Product, and event teams on tight cycles.
  • Pragmatism around localization, regional differences, and the operational reality of multi-language sends.
  • Strong analytical ability, an evidence-driven approach to measuring/improving the email channel, and a willingness to ask new questions.
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills, excellent cross-functional coordination, and a passion for the email channel.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and email compliance requirements preferred.
