Job description

Senior Associate, Multilingual Process Management

The Enterprise Language Accessibility (ELA) team is a horizontal function responsible for servicing multilingual needs across the enterprise. It supports customer touchpoints by working with partners across the company's diversified lines of business.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Process Manager to join our team. This is a specialized role that bridges translation industry knowledge with robust project management expertise. You will be responsible for driving the end-to-end delivery of high-quality translation content across the enterprise, ensuring seamless communication, and optimizing operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality translation services across the organization.

  • Apply and enforce standardized processes and tools to maintain excellence in all translation projects.

  • Identify opportunities for and drive continuous process improvements to enhance team efficiency and output.

  • Maintain clear, timely, and proactive communication with cross-functional stakeholders regarding project status, best practices, and system updates.

  • Facilitate and manage meetings effectively to ensure stakeholder alignment and seamless project execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification

  • At least 2 years of experience in translation project management

  • At least 2 years of experience in business process, project, relationship, or risk management

  • At least 2 years of experience using Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools

  • At least 2 years of experience with emerging translation and interpretation technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.

  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Lean, Agile, Six Sigma, BPM, or PMP).

  • At least 2 years of experience working within legal, banking, or business services sectors.

  • Knowledge of design tools (InDesign, Figma, Illustrator)

  • Professional proficiency in one or more foreign languages (Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, etc.)

  • Attention to detail, responsive, and organized

  • A quick learner with a proven ability to adapt to new software and internal systems

  • Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Process-driven with a commitment to adhering to established organizational standards

  • Strong interest in existing and emerging translation and interpretation trends

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
