Job description

Translational Research in Oncology (TRIO) is a global academic clinical research organization dedicated to advancing translational cancer research in the clinical trial setting. Our passionate team is committed to providing cancer treatments of the future to the world of today.
TRIO is looking for an Office Coordinator to join our Administration team. Reporting to the Executive Assistant, this position will be office based in Edmonton, Canada. This position is currently vacant and open for applications. Join us to play an important role in our organization, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment where your skills will be valued. 
Responsibilities

  • Perform various clerical tasks, stock office supplies and place orders when necessary
  • Complete monthly expense reports for designated personnel
  • Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and packages
  • Ship packages internationally, while managing customs, regulations, and logistical challenges.
  • Support the Executive Assistant with reservations, conference planning, company events, and any other tasks on an as needed basis
  • Follow and carry out company office policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining up-to-date standards
  • Coordinate office space maintenance as required
  • Ensure all office equipment is functioning, and maintenance is performed
  • Maintain user accounts for various applications and programs
  • Collaborate with the other offices, as required
  • Coordinate internal meetings, including space, setup, catering, and audio visual needs
  • Liaise with building security and manage any safety related office protocols
  • Post company communication and management updates regularly
  • Support the Finance department with clerical duties
  • Assist any employees or visitors in the office as needed

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Post Secondary in office administration, management or related field would be an asset
  • 2+ years working in office admin, reception, or hospitality industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Experience using standard office equipment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in international shipping would be an asset

Pay Range
$45,000.00 - $56,500.00 CAD
