Location: Various locations across Alberta The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for organizing and maintaining patient records within a healthcare facility. This role ensures that patient information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible for healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities: Organize and file patient medical records accurately and efficiently.

Retrieve and process requests for patient information from healthcare providers and authorized personnel. Input and update patient information in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Ensure the accuracy of data entry to maintain high-quality patient records.

Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records in compliance with HIPAA and other regulations. Assist in audits to ensure records meet legal and regulatory standards. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.

Previous experience in medical records or a healthcare administrative role is a plus. Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
