Title: Integration Manager – M&A 

Remote: Florida candidates | Supporting: IOA - Home Office (M&A Integration)
Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Business (or related field), 8-10 years P&C insurance experience managing a book

About the Role: The Integration Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing merger and acquisition integration projects and large-scale transformation initiatives across the organization. This role serves as a key liaison between executive leadership, cross-functional teams, acquired entities, and external partners to ensure successful integration outcomes. The Integration Manager develops project frameworks, manages risks, tracks milestones, and drives organizational alignment to ensure initiatives remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives. 

 
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Integration Strategy & Planning: Define project objectives, integration roadmaps, timelines, success measures, and governance structures that support organizational goals. 

  • Project Scope & Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, establish objectives, identify dependencies, and ensure alignment with business priorities. 

  • M&A Integration Leadership: Lead merger and acquisition integration initiatives, coordinating cross-functional workstreams to support successful business transitions. 

  • Transformation Program Management: Oversee large-scale transformation projects, ensuring alignment of processes, systems, teams, and operational objectives. 

  • Resource Coordination: Manage internal resources, third-party vendors, and project stakeholders to ensure appropriate allocation of support and capabilities. 

  • Project Execution & Monitoring: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are achieved within established timelines and budgets. 

  • Change Management: Manage project changes, scope adjustments, and implementation activities while maintaining stakeholder alignment and project integrity. 

  • Risk Management: Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address issues that may affect integration or transformation success. 

  • Stakeholder Communication: Develop communication plans and provide regular updates to leadership regarding project status, risks, decisions, and outcomes. 

  • Performance Measurement: Utilize project management tools, metrics, and reporting frameworks to evaluate progress and measure initiative success. 

  • Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, integration plans, decision logs, and governance records throughout the project lifecycle. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business leaders, operational teams, technology teams, Finance, HR, and external stakeholders to drive alignment and execution. 

  • Process Improvement: Evaluate business processes, identify opportunities for operational enhancement, and implement scalable solutions that improve effectiveness and efficiency. 

  • Leadership & Professional Development: Demonstrate effective project leadership while continuously strengthening project management and organizational change capabilities. 

  • Champion IOA Values: Demonstrate integrity, leadership, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions. 

 
Ideal Candidate Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required; MBA preferred 

  • 8-10+ years of project management and P&C insurance experience 

  • Experience leading M&A integrations, organizational transformations, or large-scale enterprise initiatives preferred 

  • PMP certification preferred 

  • Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills 

  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving abilities 

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across multiple teams 

  • Experience creating executive-level reports, presentations, and project documentation 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook 

  • Demonstrated success leading complex projects from planning through execution and delivery 

  • Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills 

  • Proven leadership capability with a track record of driving results and managing competing priorities
