What is a transit road supervisor?

Transit Road Supervisors are transportation professionals responsible for overseeing the daily operations of public transit services on the road. They monitor bus and transit vehicle operations, respond to incidents or delays, assist drivers with problems, and ensure schedules are maintained. Their role also includes enforcing safety protocols, assisting with route management, and providing support during emergencies or service disruptions. Transit Road Supervisors act as a critical communication link between drivers, dispatchers, and management to maintain efficient and safe transit operations.
