Job Summary: The Application Engineering Manager will lead a team of application engineers, providing technical expertise and support for the development and implementation of power solutions. This role involves working closely with sales teams, other departments and plant teams to ensure the successful application of our products in various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the application engineering team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
  • Collaborate with sales and product development teams to understand customer requirements and develop customized solutions.
  • Oversee the design, testing, and implementation of power solutions for various projects.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers and internal teams.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, user manuals, and technical reports.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions remain competitive.
  • Conduct technical training sessions for customers and internal teams.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deliverables are met within the specified time frame.
  • Coordinate with the quality assurance team to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Engineering related Field , with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Prefer technical knowledge of power systems, power electronics, and related technologies but not limited to.
  • Proven experience in project management and leading engineering teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
  • Ability to travel as required for customer visits and industry events.
