The Transformative Trauma Counseling Center is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to become an integral part of our dedicated team. Work Environment

This position is designed to be fully remote, providing you with flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with colleagues and clients. Our outpatient setting allows counselors to work collaboratively, utilizing a team-oriented approach to address complex mental health issues. You will have access to various tools and resources that enable you to offer the best care possible, including ongoing training and support from experienced supervisors. The regular work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring no evenings or weekends are involved, thus promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain an active caseload of clients, building rapport and fostering positive therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to review progress, ensure stability, and prepare for potential discharges, when appropriate.
  • Collaboratively develop, implement, and monitor individualized, person-centered treatment plans that align with each clientโ€™s unique needs and therapeutic goals.
  • Document all client interactions, progress notes, and treatment updates diligently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Administer comprehensive intake assessments to understand clientsโ€™ backgrounds and establish a foundation for effective therapy.
  • Facilitate weekly individual therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and approaches tailored to clientsโ€™ specific issues.
  • Engage in regular individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive constructive feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic support to clients, ensuring an integrated approach to care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at our center, you will predominantly work with clients facing a range of mental health challenges including, but not limited to, substance use issues, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. You will draw on your clinical skills and knowledge to help clients navigate their difficulties, optimize their mental health, and achieve their personal goals, empowering them throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications
