Position Overview

Transformative Trauma Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our remote practice in Aurora, Colorado. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality telehealth services to clients experiencing mental health challenges. Your expertise will help assess clients' mental health status, develop tailored therapeutic plans, and facilitate effective interventions.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to perform your duties from the comfort of your home while still engaging with clients through secure telehealth platforms. The schedule is designed to promote work-life balance, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, and no expectations for evening or weekend work.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of clients, establishing strong rapport and fostering a therapeutic alliance built on trust and professionalism.
• Conduct regular sessions to monitor client progress, reassess treatment plans, and discuss upcoming appointments, facilitating timely discharges when appropriate.
• Create, implement, and continuously evaluate person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique challenges and aspirations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gather essential information on clients’ histories and present issues.
• Deliver individual counseling sessions equipped with evidence-based techniques to address specific client needs.
• Engage in ongoing individual supervision to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback on therapeutic approaches.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients, ensuring comprehensive treatment of dual-diagnosis or comorbid conditions.
• Stay informed on current developments in the mental health field to continuously improve professional practice and contribute to team knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges including but not limited to substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. Your empathetic approach will be crucial in creating safe therapeutic spaces where clients can explore their concerns and achieve their personal growth objectives.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required.
• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is essential.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required, providing you with solid foundational skills in therapeutic techniques and client management.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is one year in a clinical outpatient setting, additional experience with specific populations or conditions will be seen as advantageous. Strong critical thinking, communication, and listening skills are essential to navigate the complexities of client interactions successfully.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
