Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. The center operates under a fee-for-service model, with guaranteed rates that are paid ahead of collections, eliminating the wait for reimbursement. We value our employees by providing a structured work schedule of Monday to Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no evening or weekend commitments. Our team-oriented culture encourages open communication and collaboration among clinicians, all led by clinicians themselves.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload, establishing rapport and maintaining professional boundaries with each client.
• Conduct regular therapy sessions to monitor client progress, stability, and readiness for discharge as needed.
• Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate individual treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each client.
• Document client interactions meticulously, including progress notes and updates on the treatment plan.
• Perform comprehensive intake assessments to gauge client needs and establish a therapeutic alliance.
• Engage in individual supervision and peer consultations to foster professional development and clinical competence.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care and support client needs holistically.
• Champion an ongoing learning approach, actively participating in professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Transformative Trauma Counseling Center, you will engage with a broad spectrum of clients, including those facing substance abuse challenges, mood disorders, and eating disorders. Our clientele often includes individuals who have experienced significant trauma, requiring specialized strategies and tools to foster their recovery. Your expertise will enable clients to explore their emotions, develop coping strategies, and work toward meaningful life changes.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
• A valid and unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation issued by the state of Texas is essential.
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience in an outpatient setting is required, demonstrating your capability to handle diverse client needs.
• Strong critical thinking, excellent communication, and active listening skills are necessary to build effective therapeutic alliances.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with trauma-informed care and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Background in substance use counseling and awareness of co-occurring disorders.
