Trinity Christian Academy is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and knowledgeable employee to join our education community who meets the following criteria:

We are looking for a dedicated coach and Christ follower to be the Varsity Wrestling Head Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a stipend position from September 2026 - May 2027. TCA's Athletic Department utilizes sports and competition to teach transformational, life giving biblical truths to each student-athlete. As a coach at TCA you will not only help student athletes improve their athletic ability, you will remind them of the importance of academics, instill a Christian work ethic (Col. 3:23) and help strengthen their faith in Christ.
General Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee practices, scheduling, and competition for Varsity and Sub-varsity Wrestling Programs
  • Partner with athletics administration on logistics and to procure uniforms, supplies, and necessary equipment
  • Routinely communicate with parents and students
  • A deep appreciation for and desire to further the school's Mission

Qualifications
  • A strong commitment to the positive development of the Wrestling program at TCA
  • Ability to instill teamwork and community within a group of athletes pointing them to Christ
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with high school athletes in Wrestling, preferred
  • Extensive knowledge of the sport of high school Wrestling
  • Ability to build a good rapport with student and parents
  • Ability to motivate and improve performance of athletes
  • Agree with and support TCA's Doctrinal, Biblical and Mission statements and Christian values

Physical, Mental and Environmental Requirements
  • Eye-hand, mind-eye coordination, physical dexterity
  • Ability to bend, stoop, squat, jump and run
  • Ability to teach Wrestling techniques
