Job description

Amazon is seeking a Delivery and Integrated Program Management Lead to drive end-to-end execution for a multi-year transformation of Amazon's accounting technology landscape. This leader will drive integrated delivery across Accounting, Finance, Product, Engineering, Solution Architecture, Internal Controls, SAP, and implementation partners.
This role will translate the transformation strategy into an executable, integrated program and ensure Accounting requirements are successfully delivered through design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization. The Delivery and Integrated Program Management Lead will establish program governance, manage the integrated plan, drive cross-functional decisions, and proactively address risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and critical-path activities.
In addition to overall program integration, this leader will be directly responsible for the Data Migration and Release, Change and Training, Business Readiness, and Testing and Quality workstreams

They will ensure these capabilities are coordinated with solution design and engineering activities and that the organization, data, processes, controls, and users are prepared for a controlled and successful deployment.
The ideal candidate combines strong Finance and Accounting technology knowledge with exceptional large-scale delivery and program leadership. They should be comfortable operating at the intersection of Accounting and technology, navigating ambiguity, influencing senior leaders, and driving complex decisions across organizations. This person will not simply track milestones; they will anticipate issues, establish mechanisms to resolve them, and hold teams and partners accountable for clear decisions and measurable outcomes.
The role requires strong knowledge of enterprise Finance technology delivery, including data migration, system and business testing, defect management, release and cutover planning, organizational change, training, business readiness, deployment, and post-launch stabilization

Experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP, or comparable Finance transformation programs is highly preferred.
Key job responsibilities
Own end-to-end delivery and integrated program management for complex, multi-year accounting technology initiatives.
Lead the Data Migration and Release strategy, including migration planning, data validation, cutover coordination, deployment readiness, and release governance.
Lead Change and Training, including stakeholder engagement, change-impact assessments, communications, training strategy, and user adoption.
Lead Business Readiness, ensuring affected organizations, processes, controls, teams, and operating mechanisms are prepared for deployment and ongoing operations.
Lead Testing and Quality, establishing the integrated testing strategy, quality standards, entry and exit criteria, defect governance, and business acceptance processes.
Establish the integrated program plan, governance structure, operating cadence, delivery standards, and mechanisms for measuring progress.
Integrate data migration, testing, change, training, business readiness, and release activities with solution design and engineering milestones.
Identify and manage cross-workstream dependencies, critical-path activities, resource constraints, and delivery risks.
Establish mechanisms to surface, escalate, and resolve material issues and decisions with clear owners and target dates.
Maintain transparent reporting on program health, accomplishments, risks, dependencies, financial implications, and decisions requiring leadership attention.
Manage technology vendors, systems integrators, and consulting partners, including their deliverables, dependencies, performance, and accountability.
A day in the life
You will work across Accounting and technology teams to drive integrated execution of a complex ERP transformation. Each day may include reviewing program progress, resolving cross-workstream risks and dependencies, and facilitating decisions with senior leaders. You will oversee Data Migration and Release, Change and Training, Business Readiness, and Testing and Quality, ensuring these areas remain aligned with design, engineering, and deployment milestones

You will also review readiness metrics, hold internal teams and implementation partners accountable, and provide clear executive updates to support a controlled and successful implementation.
About the team
Accounting Transformation Group drives initiatives that modernize accounting processes, improve controllership, and enable scalable growth across Amazon. The team works at the intersection of accounting, finance, process design, and technology to build better mechanisms, improve financial operations, and support new business models with strong and efficient financial foundations.
