Position Overview Type: Full-Time
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Travel: Travel is expected, up to 30%
Clearance: DoD Secret Security Clearance required
Work Authorization: U.S. Citizenship required

Summary/Objective
This position is responsible for coordinating business activities, streamlining processes, and maximizing programmatic efficiency. This role includes managing teams, enhancing productivity, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and executing strategies aligned with corporate and customer objectives. The Transformation Manager plays a key role in driving operational excellence, optimizing resources, and promoting customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions

  • Align executive vision with measurable outcomes, orchestrate cross-functional delivery, and build the mechanisms (policy, operating tempo, data, tooling, and culture) to sustain long-term transformation
  • Analyze business workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
  • Analyze performance trends to assess risks, and identify growth opportunities
  • Build strong teams to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with and provide operational support to programs
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure operational alignment with long-term strategic objectives
  • Cultivate a positive work environment supporting team morale and growth
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to drive performance, engagement, and collaboration
  • Lead end to end strategic change initiatives improving customer value, operational efficiency, and agility
  • Meet timelines, work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement
  • Proactively identify operational risks and implement effective mitigation plans
  • Refine and implement streamlined operational strategies to enhance productivity
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices
  • Translate vision into executable plans with value-tracking mechanisms

Required Education and Experience

  • Master’s degree in business administration or related field from an accredited college or university
  • 25+ years of combined experience in department of defense / defense industrial base operations, business management, or leadership roles
  • Excellent executive communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven track record delivering measurable business outcomes
