PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a  Engineer Technician – Digital to support the testing and validation of advanced turbine engine technologies. In this hands-on role, you'll help deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain data acquisition systems used to gather critical test data that supports product development, certification, and performance improvements.

What You'll Do

 you'll play a key role in supporting aerospace test operations by:

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting data acquisition equipment.
  • Supporting testing and validation of highly complex turbine engine products.
  • Monitoring and maintaining sensor systems and instrumentation.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Electrical cables and signal issues
    • Network and IP communication issues
    • Data acquisition hardware and software
  • Working with sensors including:
    • Pressure transducers
    • Thermocouples
    • Accelerometers
    • Strain gages
    • Voltage measurement systems
  • Utilizing Excel to manage and adjust sensor parameters and test configurations.
  • Supporting data collection during engine testing and validation activities.
  • Collaborating with engineers and technicians to improve testing processes and system performance.
  • Assisting with cable fabrication, soldering, and equipment setup as needed.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic Technology OR
  • 2+ years of related industry experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, signals, and instrumentation
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented technical environment

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and instrumentation
  • Knowledge of:
    • Accelerometers
    • Thermocouples
    • Pressure transducers
    • Strain gages
    • Frequency counters
    • Voltage acquisition systems
  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems
  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge
  • Network troubleshooting and IP address configuration experience
  • Cable fabrication experience, including:
    • Soldering
    • Cable crimping
  • Experience supporting testing or manufacturing environments

Pay Details: $30.00 per hour
