Waverly Advisors is seeking a Transaction Manager to join our growing RIA. This role may sit in any of our locations, with a strong preference for candidates located in Birmingham. This role plays a critical part in supporting high-net-worth clients by negotiating favorable terms for major purchases such as vehicles, luxury assets, and other significant transactions. The position combines financial analysis, negotiation expertise, and relationship management to deliver exceptional value and enhance the overall client experience. 

Transaction Manager Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a trusted client advocate by representing clients in negotiations with vendors, dealerships, and service providers to obtain the best price. 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on financing and leasing strategies, advising clients on loan structures, lease options, interest rate considerations, and cash flow impact and debt. 
  • Conduct market research on pricing trends, vendor offerings, and industry benchmarks to secure competitive terms. 
  • Assist clients with documentation, financing arrangements, and post-purchase follow-up to ensure a seamless experience. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and strategic partners to support efficient and favorable future negotiations. 
  • Analyze financing alternatives and structure lending and leasing solutions that align with clients' liquidity needs, tax considerations, and long-term financial plans. 
  • Review and assist with loan and lease documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client objectives. 
  • Collaborate closely with advisors, compliance teams, and external partners to ensure transactions meet regulatory and fiduciary standards. 

Required Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, auto finance, or luxury asset acquisition. 
  • Strong understanding of loan and lease structures, credit analysis, and interest rate mechanics. 
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship management skills. 
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and client communication skills. 
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously. 

Travel: 

  • Minimal travel is required. 

Physical Requirements: 

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
