Training Instructor

Location: Blairsville, PA (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY, NO RELOCATION PACKAGE AVAILABLE)

How YOU Will Make an Impact

  • Schedule and conduct new driver orientation sessions regarding PGT's operational and safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct and supervise road evaluations for new and current drivers as required by company policy and/or state and federal regulations.
  • Schedule and conduct on-going training and evaluation of current drivers.
  • Conduct classroom presentations.
  • Ensure all training is conducted within the regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation and PGT.
  • Assist in the evaluation of Certified Pro Trainer performance.
  • Coordinate with other departments for driver training needs and requirements.

What YOU Need to Succeed

  • Class A CDL required, flatbed experience preferred.
  • Must have working knowledge of transportation software.
  • Integrate and communicate all Department of Transportation changes to rules and regulations into the training curriculum.
  • Fluent Spanish/English is a plus!
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Maintain appropriate equipment for hands on instruction.
  • Maintain cost control attributed to the training process.
  • Maintain security of all company assets in the training process.
  • Perform all other related duties as required by business necessity or assigned by Management.
