Job description

We are STS Government Solutions (SGS), a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently supporting a new mission in San Antonio, TX and seeking additional team members to join our team. SGS is seeking a Training Manager II for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.
What You'll Do:
  • Manages the activities related to various training and educational programs for an organization.
  • Studies and identifies individual or group training needs, and administers plans, procedures, and programs to meet training needs.
  • Develops a variety of training aids and materials.
  • Keeps informed of new training methods.
  • Determines appropriateness of contracting with outside vendors to accomplish organization's training goals and objectives.
  • Analyzes training program effectiveness and submits reports and recommendations to management.
  • Prepares and approves budgets and travel plans.
  • Recruits, hires, trains staff, evaluates employee performance, and recommends or initiates promotions, transfers, and disciplinary action.

What You Bring:
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Education, Org Psychology or related
  • 5+ yrs of recent relevant experience
  • TS/SCI Clearance
