Position: Training Facilitator II – Distribution Engineering

Location: Lithonia, GA
Duration: 7 Months

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Training Facilitator II to deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and learning programs for employees and stakeholders. This role will be heavily focused on GPC distribution engineering trainingso prior experience in distribution engineering, utility operations, or related technical training is strongly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of training facilitation experience, strong adult learning knowledge, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to develop, adapt, and deliver training content that improves participant knowledge, skills, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training sessions, workshops, seminars, and learning programs for employees and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate training related to distribution engineering processes, procedures, tools, and operational practices.
  • Develop, update, and adapt training materials, presentations, guides, and learning resources.
  • Present training content in an engaging and effective manner for different learning styles.
  • Use facilitation techniques such as group discussions, case studies, role-playing, hands-on activities, and interactive exercises.
  • Encourage participant engagement through questions, collaboration, and discussion.
  • Gather participant feedback to evaluate training effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Modify training content and delivery methods based on feedback and changing business needs.
  • Use e-learning platforms, virtual training tools, and other learning technologies when appropriate.
  • Develop and administer assessments to measure learning outcomes and training effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, evaluations, assessments, and related activities.
  • Ensure training programs comply with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate training schedules, updates, and requirements to participants and stakeholders.
  • Stay current with industry trends, adult learning practices, training methods, and learning technologies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in training facilitation, adult learning, or technical training.
  • Prior experience supporting or delivering training in distribution engineering, utility operations, or a related technical environment.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and classroom management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage, motivate, and support adult learners.
  • Experience developing or adapting training materials and learning resources.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training sessions and priorities.
  • Ability to collect feedback, assess training effectiveness, and recommend improvements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and training-related tools.
