Job description

Since we opened our doors in 2009, the world of commerce has evolved immensely, and so has Square. After enabling anyone to take payments and never miss a sale, we saw sellers stymied by disparate, outmoded products and tools that wouldn't work together.
So we expanded into software and started building integrated, omnichannel solutions - to help sellers sell online, manage inventory, offer buy now, pay later functionality, book appointments, engage loyal buyers, and hire and pay staff. Across it all, we've embedded financial services tools at the point of sale, so merchants can access a business loan and manage their cash flow in one place. Afterpay furthers our goal to provide omnichannel tools that unlock meaningful value and growth, enabling sellers to capture the next generation shopper, increase order sizes, and compete at a larger scale.
Today, we are a partner to sellers of all sizes - large, enterprise-scale businesses with complex operations, sellers just starting, as well as merchants who began selling with Square and have grown larger over time. As our sellers grow, so do our solutions. There is a massive opportunity in front of us. We're building a significant, meaningful, and lasting business, and we are helping sellers worldwide do the same.

Role

We're looking for a Global Enablement Program Manager, who can bring to life the Afterpay and Cash App value propositions through our biggest channel: our people. You will have the opportunity to build a global Afterpay and Cash App enablement & training strategy that educates, supports, and grows our go-to-market teams across Sales, Account Management, Partnerships and Customer Success. You will own the program from the ground up, thinking about what matters most, how we best support our teams, and ultimately how we uplevel the skills of our people, to help them surpass their goals. In this role, you will truly have the opportunity to manage a program that is mission critical to our organization's ability to scale, hit goals, and develop top talent.

This is a global role focused on North America, the UK and APAC. You may start the day sending out communications to the US team on recent business updates, followed by an end-of-day training session with the Australian team on a tool refresh.

Responsibilities

You will develop a global enablement & training strategy that:

  • Educates teams on core value proposition, product launches, business updates and more.
  • Supports those teams with the tools to do their best work through training, use cases etc.
  • Grows the team's capability with selling skills, opportunity frameworks, and continuous learning.
  • Is a builder when it comes to AI, both building tools and supporting teams to ensure our teams are utilizing all the skills available to them, to be successful in their role.

Day-to-day:

  • Own and manage our internal content platform, ensuring it is clean and up-to-date, and most importantly that our teams love and engage with us.
  • You'll be the owner for this workstream end-to-end but you'll collaborate closely with revenue leadership to identify and prioritize improvements to the ongoing sales skills program(s.).
  • Balance your time between facilitating training classes, program management responsibilities, and strategic planning.
  • Scale globally but think regionally: Take the time to understand the unique needs of each market and build a global enablement program.
  • Communicate across the business with product & business updates, including both email communication and live presentations.
  • Closely collaborate with the B2B content & other GTM functions to ensure their content is driving maximum engagement and utilization internally.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of related experiences in sales, sales training, sales enablement, learning & development or a related field.
  • Well versed in learning methodologies and facilitation techniques, especially for a sales team.
  • AI-fluent with a proven track record of utilizing AI tools to scale programs.
  • Direct experience working within sales organizations.
  • Proven ability to manage a project from inception to completion in a well organized and professional manner.
  • Experience measuring and articulating the impact of L&D programs on bottom line sales performance.
  • A history of facilitating learning experiences through a variety of platforms (in-person / virtual lectures, experiential learning, asynchronous / on-demand).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with and influencing key stakeholders to understand & synthesize the needs of a global sales organization and how various enablement solutions can move the needle.
  • Ability to execute and meet swift deadlines in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
