Your mission is to develop, inspire, and elevate our Ready Mix Operators, ensuring every employee is set up for long-term success while strengthening our culture across the region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, interview, and select top-tier CDL and Ready Mix Operator candidates
  • Lead engaging and impactful new hire orientation and onboarding programs
  • Train and develop Ready Mix Drivers/Operators on safety, quality, and operational excellence
  • Mentor, manage, and support plant-level trainers, ensuring consistent and high-quality training across locations
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidate experience, coordinating with recruiting and HR teams
  • Travel regionally to evaluate training effectiveness, provide coaching, and support field teams
  • Promote and uphold SRM’s 5 Principles: Safety, Quality, Kindness, Cleanliness, and Go-Getter mindset
  • Foster a strong workplace culture focused on recognition, encouragement, and employee development
  • Support ongoing training programs, performance improvement, and workforce development initiatives

Qualifications:
 
  • Proven experience in training, coaching, hiring, or leadership roles

  • Experience working with or understanding CDL drivers, trucking, or construction operations
  • CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) preferred for credibility and hands-on training

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training programs and locations
