Position Summary

EBI Consulting is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Program Manager, Training, to lead the development and execution of enterprise training programs that build technical expertise, support employee growth, and strengthen organizational capability. This role partners with business leaders and subject matter experts to design, deliver, and continuously improve learning solutions that align with business objectives and workforce development needs.

Responsible for managing the full training lifecycle—from needs assessment and curriculum development to delivery and performance measurement—the Program Manager, Training ensures employees have access to engaging, relevant, and impactful learning experiences. The role also drives the adoption of scalable digital learning solutions, leveraging learning technologies and platforms to expand access, track outcomes, and foster a culture of continuous learning, upskilling, and career development across the organization.

This position reports directly to the VP of HR and is based out of our Burlington, MA corporate headquarters, with the expectation that in-office attendance is required. As such, candidates need to be established within commutable distance to Burlington, MA and comfortable working in an office environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Execute comprehensive, data-driven training strategy that directly aligns with the company's long-term goals and strategic workforce plans to close skill gaps and prepare talent for future roles, whether in their own practice or other practices 
  • Team with operations and departmental leads to execute group training events, incorporating process improvements and technology solutions, geared toward driving enhanced productivity, quality and employee engagement. Work with team leads to identify, develop, and execute appropriate modules in various formats 
  • Promote resource upskilling, creating utility players with diverse skill sets, filling staffing gaps and expanding capacity of key service disciplines. Reinforce culture of skills development and diversification 
  • Implement leadership development (including training, coaching, and mentoring) and succession planning to build internal capabilities and ensure strong bench strength for key positions 
  • Drive utilization of skills repository in Salesforce. Maintain proactive stance capturing future skill needs required. Ensure new hire skills are added, and existing team member skills are regularly maintained 
  • Develop training and development pathways for key operational roles, supported by in-person, and remote (on demand video and live video sessions) training, leveraging subject matter experts in operations as required. Program to include onboarding, formal and on the job training, and multi-year progression with cross-training and development opportunities. 
  • Leverage learning platform (e.g. LinkedIn Learning) to build scalable model to deliver digital education and training. Curate and create on-demand learning opportunities and individualized pathways assigned by managers. 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to evaluate candidate experience and skill sets early during initial recruitment and interviewing process, outlining potential paths for career development in alignment with company long-term goals 
  • Collaborate directly with individual team members and their managers to document career pathing and advancement, ensuring action items are outlined and executed with milestone dates for completion 
  • Foster culture of employees advocating for themselves, driving their own career development, collaborating with managers, and following the GROW model (Goal/Reality/Options/Way Forward) 

 

Qualifications and Capabilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years professional services consulting experience; environmental, engineering, and/or due diligence
  • Reporting and analysis background required
  • Significant leadership, people management, and client project management expertise strongly preferred.
  • Ability to serve as business advisor to Leadership, providing thoughtful feedback supported by analytics and experience
  • Ability to demonstrate progressive career advancement
  • Ability to work collaboratively, providing effective leadership, direction, and coaching
  • Foster a growth mindset, communicate with context and clarity, and ensure alignment of strategy, people, and process

The reasonable estimate of the salary range for this position is $85,000 - $120,000. The salary range describes the minimum to maximum base salary range for this position across applicable US locations. This position may also be eligible for a bonus whereby total compensation may exceed base salary depending on individual performance. The actual compensation offered will be based on a range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to; geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, knowledge, skills/level, qualifications and budget.
