Position Description
The Institute is currently seeking a Program Assistant to join our Global Membership team. This staff member will be responsible for a wide range of duties including, but not limited to, the following:
  • Prepare internal and external reports on membership engagement
  • Prepare and distribute correspondence to members from senior-level staff
  • Process new members, resignations, and maintain and update member and contact information
  • Provide assistance with membership recruitment and marketing including, but not limited to, assisting with market research, implementing marketing strategies, and creating marketing presentations
  • Analyze engagement data and spreadhead initiatives to increase member engagement
  • Coordinate all administrative activities with other members of the membership department and keep the department and other appropriate staff apprised of membership concerns
  • Coordinate annual membership renewal and invoicing process, which includes undertaking financials research, generating and sending invoices, and following up on payments
Requirements
  • College degree required.
  • At least one year of work-related experience.
  • Strong command of the English language with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • High degree of professionalism, strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate and act with tact, judgment, and energy.

Work Environment
IIF is pleased to provide its staff with a hybrid work environment: staff members are currently required to work in the office in Washington, DC, Tuesdays through Thursdays but have the option of working remotely on Mondays and Fridays.
