Overview Analyst 2 LOCATION: Huntsville, AL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: Secret TRAVEL: As Needed Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst 2 located at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL . Astrion has worked extensively with Redstone Arsenal where it has earned a reputation for on-time delivery of high-quality products tailored to the needs of its clients. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS * Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a technical, science or business discipline from an accredited* college/university and 3 years of experience in one of the following areas, as related to the respective job required: Communication, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Personnel/Human Resource Management, Program Management, Process Improvement, Safety, Security, and Environmental specialties; or an Associate's Degree and 5 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; or 7 years of experience performing the job duties in the assigned specialty area; or 7 years of military training in the assigned specialty area, or a combination thereof. Additional specialization requirements: * Program Analyst - 2 years of the required experience must include experience coordinating projects; collecting data, reviewing technical documents compiling statistics and data for projects; writing narratives, managing the execution of inspection programs, creating, monitoring, and maintaining audit files for program compliance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required to translate complex test engineering data into clear and concise test reports. Must be proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Visio, and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) programming. The VBA utilities are used to architect, maintain, and enhance a critical suite of custom tools that drive division workflows, activity tracking, and document automation. Demonstrated ability to build data parsers, multi-source data aggregation utilities, and document automation tools. Familiarization which relational database concepts (Access) and interacting with SharePoint data environments. RESPONSIBILITIES * Will work closely with Engineers to compile data in a single source providing easy access to multiple detailed/memo-style plans and reports. #CJ
