JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Specialist to join our growing team. As a key member of the Learning & Development team, you will play a crucial role in implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs that enhance employee skills, drive performance, and contribute to organizational success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and training.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Contribute to training material development: Work with other L&D staff, Quality, Operations, and others as needed to create training materials for production employees. Tailor training methods to the needs of the manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct Training Sessions: Lead and facilitate training sessions, focusing on knowledge and skills needed to perform safely and effectively in a production environment.
  • Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs. Use feedback and performance data to refine training techniques and materials.
  • Coordinate with Production Managers: Work closely with production managers and supervisors to identify specific training needs. Ensure that training programs are aligned with current production goals and practices.
  • Maintain Training Records: Keep detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness. Use LMS to set up class calendars and sessions, and update learner transcripts.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED required. Degree or certification in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in a training role within a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred.
