Commercial Kitchen Technician

Pine Tree is hiring experienced technicians who can tackle it allโ€”from ice machines, walk-in coolers, and freezers to ovens, fryers, griddles, and HVAC units. If you've got a gas license and hands-on experience with cold and/or hot side commercial kitchen equipment, we've got a full-time opportunity with competitive pay and a team that treats you like family.

Qualifications:

  • Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
  • Troubleshooting and repairing commercial cooking equipment like fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, and more
  • Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
  • Delivering outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
  • Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
  • Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
  • Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
  • Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements:

  • EPA Certification (cold side)
  • Minimum 2 years of mechanical/electrical/refrigeration experience.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that align with our safety standards.
  • Compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
  • Flexibility for on-call shifts and overtime when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Completion of a successful background check and drug screen is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
