We are seeking a Project Control Specialist (Journeyman) to support our customer's operations at Offutt AFB, Nebraska. This effort provides our Government customer with Advisory and Assistance Services. This position will be on-site and will require a Top Secret (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Nuclear Command and Control/Extremely Sensitive Information (NC2/ESI), Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and SAP security accesses. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Position Summary

The Project Control Specialist provides project management, scheduling, resource coordination, and technical support for the Customer's Training Office activities. The position ensures effective execution of training programs, exercise support, reporting requirements, and contract deliverables while coordinating daily activities between Government and contractor personnel.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • The Project Control Specialist shall:
  • Coordinate execution of training activities supporting the Annual Training Plan.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project schedules for training events, certification activities, and exercises.
  • Coordinate resource requirements supporting Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Mission Qualification Training (MQT), refresher training, and certification programs.
  • Track progress of lesson plan development, curriculum revisions, and training implementation.
  • Support planning and execution of national-level exercises and scenario development.
  • Coordinate technical reports, training documentation, and CDRL submissions.
  • Monitor milestones, deliverables, staffing, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain project status reports, action item tracking, and risk documentation.
  • Support lessons learned collection and corrective action implementation.
  • Coordinate revisions to training documentation and Annual Training Plans.
  • Assist with evaluation events and certification planning activities.
  • Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives throughout contract performance.
  • Coordinate with Government personnel to ensure timely completion of contract requirements.
Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience within the previous five (5) years supporting airborne or fixed-site command and control operations, continuity planning, mission execution, or operational program management within a Department of War (DoW) environment.
  • Five (5) additional years of relevant USSTRATCOM or National Military Command System (NMCS) experience.
  • Functional expertise in the operation and employment of DoW, National Military Command System (NMCS) and nuclear command and control (NC2) platforms, nodes and battle staff and other DoW and interagency organizations pertinent to execution of military missions.
  • Previous SAP access experience relating to the community.

  • US Citizenship
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI, NC2/ESI, and SAP eligibility.

Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
