Job description

The Training and Development (OD) Specialist focuses on the detailed tasks associated with instructing and recording training for employees on everything from duties and responsibilities to cutting-edge professional development. They utilize OSHA standards along with leadership guidelines and requests from upper management to enhance Clark Pacific’s organizational development curriculum.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with staff, projects, and proprietary information.
  • Deliver course content for company training programs, workshops, and orientations of all employees.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of employee training programs using individual or group performance results.
  • Suggest and implement adjustments to training methods and content to ensure effectiveness and compatibility with company policies and direction.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from training session attendees for use in future improvements to content and presentation.
  • Participate in the development and creation of course content for lesson plans and design training aids.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required. Preferable majors include engineering, business, and education.
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in human resources, business, education, manufacturing, engineering and/or training is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is Required
