Purpose
The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for effectively identifying, assessing, delivering, and maintaining Grรคnges' learning and development needs and learning processes. This person will work closely with plant leaders and subject matter experts to assess developmental needs to deliver learning initiatives.
Job Description
  • Conduct gap analysis to identify needs and offer learning and development solutions.
  • Improve onboarding experience for new employees, with a focus on reducing 90-day turnover rate
  • Create and deliver learning programs and content following proven adult learning principles in all aspects of plant operations including environmental, health and safety (EHS).
  • Track and report training status and completion on monthly basis
  • Maintain records of training documentation
  • Introduce innovative ways to make content available to shop floor employees
  • Manage existing internal and external learning programs, including working with vendor partners
  • Research third-party content providers and other external groups as needed
  • Design and implement evaluations and metrics to assess the effectiveness and adoption of expected behaviors
  • Evaluate feedback and adjust training strategy to meet needs of the business
  • Apply and maintain knowledge of current training and development methods and techniques
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in education, industrial technology, human resources, manufacturing, safety or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5 years progressive experience in learning and development, training, or talent management capacity
  • Previously demonstrable success in a learning role, with experience in design, delivery, and facilitation of learning solutions in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience designing and implementing training programs
  • Strategic yet detail oriented, self-starter with the ability to deal with ambiguity, multiple challenges and/or projects
