Business Development Manager - IVIG

Location: Northern New Jersey | Type: Full-time | Schedule: Monday–Friday

Regular in-person territory coverage required; proximity to territory (approximately 20-minute commute) strongly preferred.

Are you a relationship-driven sales professional with a passion for specialty therapies and healthcare innovation? IVX Health is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) – IG Therapy to lead the growth of our IVIG (Intravenous Immunoglobulin) and SCIG therapy business across targeted provider and payer markets.

In this highly visible, therapy-focused role, you will play a critical part in expanding IVX Health's presence in the IVIG space by developing new referral relationships, growing existing accounts, and executing strategic initiatives that improve patient access to care. Working closely with Business Development, Payer Access, Specialty Pharmacy, Clinical, and Operations teams, you will help ensure a seamless experience from referral through therapy delivery.

What You'll Do

Market Expansion & Referral Development

  • Identify and engage net new IVIG referring providers, including specialists in neurology, immunology, and oncology.
  • Expand existing IVIG accounts and develop new provider relationships within designated territories.
  • Maintain a consistent IVIG-focused presence with providers to increase awareness and referral activity.

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Execute refined selling strategies tailored to IVIG therapies, including therapy-agnostic order forms and product-specific initiatives such as Gamunex-C.
  • Partner with ASM and Growth leadership to align territory goals, sales objectives, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in ongoing training focused on IG sales methodologies and reimbursement strategies.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Prior Authorization (PA) and Intake teams to implement preferred product matrices and streamline patient onboarding.
  • Collaborate with Clinical and Operations teams to support patients and providers throughout the treatment journey.
  • Foster market-level partnerships with pharmaceutical organizations, including Octapharma and Takeda.

Data & Market Intelligence

  • Utilize CRM systems, including Sugar, to track referral activity, account status, and sales performance.
  • Provide insight on market trends, competitive activity, and therapy adoption to support business strategy and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or infusion services sales, including direct engagement with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, or clinical office staff.
  • Experience developing new referral relationships and expanding existing provider accounts within an assigned territory.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare referral processes, payer authorization requirements, and reimbursement considerations impacting specialty therapies.
  • Experience managing territory activity, account engagement, and pipeline tracking using CRM systems or comparable tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience selling IVIG or related specialty infusion therapies.
  • Demonstrated success opening new specialty therapy accounts and driving therapy-specific growth within healthcare markets.

Pay is based on factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and is benchmarked against similar organizations in our size and industry. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the posted range, as compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. In addition to cash pay, full-time regular employees are eligible for commissions/bonus, 401(k), health benefits, and other company-provided benefits.
