Job Summary


The Land Development Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of land development projects. This position collaborates closely with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and government agencies to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.


Responsibilities:


·      Coordinate all aspects of development applications (Official Plan Amendments, Subdivisions, Zoning, Committee of Adjustment, Condominiums), including due diligence, submissions, agreements, and registrations.

·      Coordinate with consultants, municipal staff, and internal teams to secure approvals efficiently and on schedule.

·      Review technical documents (planning, engineering, legal, financial) to identify risks and opportunities, and support revisions.

·      Conduct market research and analysis to guide product design, pricing, and positioning.

·      Validate site plans, building designs, and recommend design and program improvements.

·      Oversee engineering design coordination and contract administration for servicing, utilities, and landscaping.

·      Support Sales & Marketing and Construction teams in preparation for sales launches and project starts.

·      Liaise with Builders for final assumptions of development projects, deficiencies, landscaping, and development-related obligations during home construction

·      Contribute to land acquisitions through site analysis, offers, and due diligence.

·      Prepare agendas, minutes, reports, and presentations to ensure accountability and progress tracking.

·      Perform administrative and project support duties, including site visits and council/committee participation.

·      Contribute to accounting duties such as preparing contracts/purchase orders

·     2+ years of experience in land development, planning, or project coordination.

·     Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.

·     Strong understanding of land use regulations, permitting processes, and development standards.

The pay range for this role is:
