Job description


In this position you will interface with multiple support teams, including business analysts, user acceptance testers, technology partners, and trainers to ensure successful training implementations. The expected training solutions should be hands-on, interactive, engaging, and concise utilizing adult learning theories as well as the latest training development methodologies and tools. This role also involves a poised and flexible team player who is an experienced writer and editor and comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. Communicating complex information in a clear, concise, and accurate way is crucial in this role.
As a Training Developer, in the Wholesale Lockbox Team at JPMorgan Chase, you will develop, deliver, and maintain training materials and support documentation for the Lockbox Receivables Operations. In this role you will support operations' processing requirements by developing engaging training solutions and developing technical documentations to help drive operation excellence.
Job responsibilities
  • Research, develop, publish, and refresh training content for technical operations workflow
  • Understand technology's impact on users at all levels and develop appropriate training content to support learning systems
  • Identify and implement appropriate training delivery methodology by content and audience
  • Partner with division management, peers and other support teams to develop appropriate training content
  • Support the operation sites during system and production implementation of new procedures and processes
  • Create presentations and informational videos that support business initiatives or project implementations
  • Collaborate with business analysts, trainers, operations staff, and technology partners to deliver the documentations timely and accurately

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year practical experience working in an operation/production, a finance institution, or a fast-paced business environment
  • Excellent writing, editing, organization skills, and strong attention to details
  • Intermediate to advanced level of competency Intermediate to advanced level of competency in video and audio editing using tools such as Camtasia and Audacity
  • Experience in building virtual reality learning content for machine operation or other simulations
  • A creative mind to develop engaging content by utilizing text, illustrations, animations and videos to enhance documentation
  • Proficient competency in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and video/audio/graphic editing tools such as Audacity, Camtasia, SnagIT, Photoshop, Articulate Storyline 360, Canva, advanced action scripts, or equivalent web-based training authoring tools
  • Experience in technical and soft skill training content development
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and training development methodologies
