Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking an experienced Maintenance Training Manager 2 to join our team of qualified individuals within our Flight Operations organization. This position will be located at Oklahoma City, OK.

In this role, you will be responsible for...
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversees a team of Maintenance Trainers responsible for tracking and instructing a training pipeline
  • Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel
  • Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities
  • Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques
  • Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments
  • May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs
  • May be responsible for development of e-learning programs

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience; or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience; OR a High school diploma/GED with 9 years of experience
  • Experience should be in training and/or maintenance
  • 2 years of leadership experience
  • Experience with courseware sustainment
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Must be able to travel to various locations for initial training for a minimum of 24 weeks prior to relocating to the permanent location
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a USAF or Equivalent Mx Training Flight or Field training detachment.
  • Basic Instructor Course or international instructor cert
  • Experience with training content development principles: ADDIE (analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate).

Primary Level Salary Range: $109,000.00 - $163,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
