Ability Beyond is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and people-focused Talent Development & Training Assistant to join our Talent Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of HR while helping create exceptional employee experiences from day one.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of our employee training center, onboarding experience, internal communications, and employee engagement efforts. You'll work alongside experienced HR professionals, interact with employees across the organization, and play an important role in helping our team members learn, grow, and succeed. You'll also gain exposure to the full employee lifecycle while working on projects that directly impact employee growth, retention, and engagement.

What You'll Do
Create Exceptional New Hire Experiences
  • Coordinate onboarding and orientation programs for new employees
  • Help create a fun, positive, and memorable first-day experience
  • Work with managers and teams to ensure employees have the tools they need to succeed

Support Employee Learning & Development
  • Coordinate training schedules, classrooms, and virtual learning events
  • Maintain our Learning Management System (LMS) and employee training records
  • Track certifications, training completions, and recertification requirements
  • Support overall development and employee growth programs

Drive Employee Engagement
  • Assist with employee recognition initiatives and engagement programs
  • Assist with creating interesting and visually appealing communications and promotional materials
  • Share updates through our intranet and internal communication channels

Keep Programs Running Smoothly
  • Coordinate training center operations, materials, technology, and logistics
  • Manage schedules, training resources, and program documentation
  • Support both in-person and virtual learning experiences

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and Zoom
