Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Training Supervisor located in Columbia, SC.
Reporting to the Training Manager the Training Supervisor will develop and deliver learning solutions for employees and providing on-going coaching and feedback to ensure employees have the necessary skills to meet the requirements of their position.
What a typical day looks like:
  • Develop training and development procedures.
  • Encourage teamwork among trainers.
  • Ensure good relationship and communication with management team, ensure all training programs match the requirement of organization and work.
  • Participates in needs analysis studies to determine training needs within organization.
  • Confers with management to gain knowledge of specific work situations requiring employees to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations and technologies.
  • Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, lectures, demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
  • Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
  • Selects or develops testing and evaluation procedures to be used at completion of training.
  • Supervise the training sessions provided by trainers covering specified areas such as new employee orientation, on-the-job training, use of computers and software, apprenticeship programs, customer service, sales techniques, health and safety practices, public relations, refresher training, promotional development, upgrading and leadership development.
  • Evaluates participants to measure progress and to ascertain effectiveness of training.
  • Reports on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
  • Revises design of training curriculum and methods to improve effectiveness.
