At Bengal, training is not a back-office role. It is the foundation of how we deliver crane, rigging, heavy haul, and logistics services safely across the Gulf South's industrial, petrochemical, construction, and infrastructure projects - and we've been doing it for more than 25 years.
We are looking for a skilled, safety-driven Training Manager to develop our workforce, lead new hire orientation, and keep our crews certified, compliant, and job-ready.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Develop and deliver training programs tailored to industrial, crane, rigging, and heavy haul operations
  • Conduct new employee orientations to onboard staff effectively
  • Travel to job sites to conduct on-site training and evaluations (up to 25%)
  • Certify and evaluate employees on industrial equipment proficiency
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate training records to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
  • Partner with Safety leadership to identify training gaps and drive continuous improvement in safe work practices
  • Participate in company safety programs, meetings, and job-site safety requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What You Need
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Train-the-Trainer certification
  • OSHA Basic Plus certification
  • NCCER certification and TWIC Card required or ability to obtain
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable MVR and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Hands-on industrial experience in training, operations, or safety
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • A safety-oriented mindset with a focus on compliance and best practices
  • Ability to pass an interview, drug screen, DISA background review, and any customer or job-site access requirements

Preferred (But Not Required)
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field (Safety, Education, Industrial Management)
  • Certified Environmental, Safety, and Health Trainer (CET) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
