Oslin Nation is seeking a motivated, career-oriented Sales Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is designed to develop future outside sales professionals through a structured training program that provides hands-on experience across multiple areas of our business.

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of our products, customers, operations, and sales process while working alongside experienced industry professionals. Successful candidates will have a clear pathway into an outside sales role based on performance, aptitude, and business needs.

What You'll Do

During the training program, you will spend time learning and contributing in several key departments, including:

• Warehouse Operations
• Customer Service
• Estimating and Job Costing
• Project Coordination
• Sales Support

As you progress, you will:

• Learn Oslin Nation's products, services, systems, and market applications through hands-on training.
• Develop a strong understanding of customer needs and industry best practices.
• Support the sales team through administrative and operational tasks.
• Assist with account management activities for existing customers.
• Participate in customer meetings, presentations, lunch-and-learn events, and other relationship-building activities.
• Shadow experienced sales professionals and learn effective sales strategies and techniques.
• Build the skills necessary to independently manage customer relationships and drive sales growth.

Qualifications

Preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Prior sales, customer service, or business development experience.
• Exposure to HVAC, hydronic, plumbing, mechanical, or construction-related industries.

Required Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to learn technical products and concepts.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external customers.
• Self-motivated with a desire to build a long-term career in sales.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to occasionally lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in warehouse and office environments during the training program.
