Job description

Medical Billing Performance & Analytics Manager

Montvale, NJ
$80,000 to $120,000

We are seeking a highly analytical Medical Billing Performance & Analytics Manager to own performance tracking across our medical billing client accounts.

This is not simply a reporting role. We need someone who understands RCM numbers, identifies when something is off, investigates the cause, and follows through until the issue is addressed.

What You Will Own

  • Collections and payment trends
  • AR aging, including 30/60/90/120+
  • Days in AR
  • Clean claim and first-pass rates
  • Denial trends
  • Outstanding and unbilled claims
  • Claim submission turnaround
  • Payer performance and underpayments
  • Adjustments and write-offs
  • Client-specific KPIs and scorecards
  • Identifying discrepancies and negative trends
  • Working with internal teams to resolve performance issues

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong medical billing / RCM experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation ability
  • Experience monitoring RCM performance and KPIs
  • Ability to identify root causes behind performance issues
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Naturally curious and comfortable digging into numbers

The ideal candidate is someone who does not just produce reports. You understand what the numbers mean, question what does not look right, and take ownership of getting answers and improving performance.
