Now Hiring: Medical Billing Coordinator

Alpharetta, GA | M–F 8:30–5:00 | $28–$30/hr DOE

Medical Specialty practice is looking for an experienced Medical Billing Coordinator to support accurate billing, insurance verification, and patient financial care. Athena experience strongly preferred — strong EMR skills required.

Duties:
  • Charge entry, payments, and daily billing updates
  • Insurance verification 72 hours before appointments
  • Claim submission, denial resolution, and A/R follow‑up
  • Support patients with billing questions and payment plans
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA
Requirements:
  • Medical billing/RCM experience
  • Athena or strong EMR proficiency
  • Knowledge of insurance, EOBs, reimbursement
  • Billing/coding certification (CPC, CBCS, etc.)
  • Strong communication, accuracy, and multitasking
