About the role
Position: Retail Marketing Associate
Location: hello82 LA 7323 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90036
Work Hours: Mon-Fri 9:30AM to 6:30PM
We are seeking a Retail Marketing Associate to support the execution of global K-pop marketing campaigns. This role will work closely under the Label Business Manager and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day execution of retail campaigns, fan activations, and promotional initiatives. This position is ideal for someone early in their marketing career who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about K-pop, fan culture, and retail.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing Campaign & Launch Execution
  • Assist in managing product launch timelines, task lists, and deliverables under the guidance of the Label Business Manager.
  • Track campaign progress, deadlines, and approvals to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Help coordinate promotional assets and information between internal teams, retail partners, and external parties.
  • Ideate and coordinate with Artist Promotion Teams to support the execution of retail-involved communications, activations, and promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborating with external organizations to execute potential campaigns exploring expanding marketing, activations, and artist activations.
  • Maintain organized documentation including project trackers, timelines, and campaign folders with hello82 retail spaces.
  • Support reporting and post-campaign wrap-ups by gathering data, assets, and learnings from consumer behaviors.
  • Create short-form video content including Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts to support product release rollouts and retail promotions.
  • Edit videos using tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar softwares.

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Work closely with internal teams including Creative, Production, Operations, Sales, and Fan Experience to support album release execution.
  • Assist in preparing internal briefs, meeting notes, and follow-ups.
  • Communicating with US and international retail partners to coordinate campaigns and launch marketing.
  • Coordinating with Production and hello82 retail stores to align with promotional in-house artist events and campaigns.
  • Support clear communication across teams to ensure alignment on tasks and timelines.

Fan & Industry Research
  • Monitor K-pop trends, fan behavior, and competitive marketing campaigns.
  • Support research and ideation for campaign planning and fan engagement initiatives.
  • Help ensure campaigns are culturally relevant and aligned with global fan communities.

Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, project coordination, retail experience or related roles (internship experience included).

  • Interest in K-pop, music, entertainment, fan culture, or retail
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and supporting multiple stakeholders.
