About the Management Trainee Program

The Greif Management Trainee Program is a structured, hands-on rotational experience designed to prepare early career talent for future roles across the organization. This role is aligned to Greif's Innovative Closure Solutions business unit, wherethe cohort of Trainees will support the development and delivery of high-performance closure solutions while gaining exposure to key business functions. Trainees gain exposure to key business functions while developing the skills needed to lead teams, manage operations, and drive results.

What You Will Have the Opportunity to Do

  • Participate in across-functional rotational programacross key areas such asproduct development, sales, and plantoperations/maintenance(based on business needs)

  • Gainhands-on experiencesupporting day-to-day business and operational priorities

  • Learn how leadersmanage safety, quality, and customer expectations

  • Build foundational skills inworkplace effectiveness,problemsolving, anddecisionmaking

  • Analyze business processes andidentifycontinuous improvement opportunities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to supportbusiness initiatives and projects

  • Receivetraining, coaching, and mentorshipfrom experienced leaders

  • Prepare forplacement into a full-time roleupon successful program completion

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering,Paper Sciences,Plastics Technology, or Polymer Sciences, or a closely related engineering or technical discipline

  • Recent graduates or early-career professionalswith0-3 years of experiencein engineering, manufacturing, operations, or supply chain environments

  • Willingness and ability to work inplant-based / manufacturing settings

  • Legal authorization to work in the United Stateswithout current or future sponsorship requirements

  • Ability to workfull-time, on-sitein Carol Stream, IL,for the duration of the program

  • Flexibility to traveldomestically and internationally as business needs require

  • Demonstrated ability tolearn quickly, adapt to change, and thrive in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment

  • Foundational understanding ofmanufacturing processes, Lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies

  • ProficiencyinMicrosoft Office applications, includingExcel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to analyze data and present insights effectively

Compensation Range:

The pay range for this position is $56,100.00 - $95,500.00. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between $68,600.00 to $80,700.00. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
