Job description

Yaskawa is searching for an entry level Software Engineer to focus developing software for value add processes in our Operations business unit. The Software Engineer will participate in all phases of software development life cycle including specification, detailed design, testing, design review, and development. As well as provide support and training for developed products to related departments.   Additionally, this role will support the advancement and implementation of operation improvements in the manufacturing and distribution process across the entire YAI OPS enterprise. 

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering. Additionally, candidates should possess a minimum of 1 year in software development. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of one or more programming language (C++, SQL, Python, etc..) and good coding practices.   Lastly, the perfect candidate will have familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
