Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in product design, interaction design, or a related UX field.
  • Experience creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product Management and Engineering.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in high-fidelity prototyping and motion design.
  • Experience with cross-product area influence and collaboration within a large organization.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with a track record of influencing product strategy.
  • Excellent visual design skills, with expertise in component and system design.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Drive Google Meet's intelligence strategy through cross-functional alignment and high-quality design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with User Experience (UX) Research to identify user pain points and uncover new opportunity areas for intelligent features.
  • Develop user journeys, designs, prototypes, and presentations to effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with engineering to implement designs to specification and identify creative solutions to technical issues.
  • Apply and contribute to shared design systems to ensure consistency across Workspace products.
