Job description

Job Title: Provisioning and Configuration Bootcamp Trainee
Location: Gulfport/Moss Point, MS
Position Overview: A Provisioning and Configuration Trainee learns the necessary skills to become an entry level ILS professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Upon successful completion of the Provisioning and Configuration Training Program, Trainee will possess the ability to:
• Prepare and produce provisioning technical documentation and logistics support documentation in accordance with Company, military and commercial specifications and standards.
• Organize and prepare specified provisioning documentation including compilation/analysis of source material.
• Coordinate the development, editing, composition, production, and delivery of assigned provisioning technical documentation in accordance with applicable specifications/standards.
• Coordinate required ancillary services and interdepartmental activities.
• Record and report the change process of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) data ensuring information needed to manage configuration item identification for marine vessels.
Qualifications:
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalency (i.e. General Education Diploma).
• Capable of doing research and contacting manufacturers for information pertaining to equipment and systems preferred.
• Ability to perform shipboard verification and validation preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Good human relations and people skills.
• Strong communication skills, including written and oral communication.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of computers and computer software.
• Able to continuously work with detailed information.
