Job description

Job description:
  1. Comply with all internal, environmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.
  2. Ensure proper connection and disconnection of any hoses or pipelines.
  3. Monitor for leaks and/or spills of product and take proper corrective action.
  4. Fulfill the responsibilities identified in the Declaration of Inspection (DOI) and United States Coast Guard Manual.
  5. Load/Unload tank trucks safely in accordance with procedure and regulations.
  6. Load/Unload tank cars safely in accordance with procedure and regulations.
  7. Load/Unload barges/ships safely in accordance with procedure and regulations.
  8. Assist in other areas of the terminal as requested by Supervisor/Manager.
  9. Maintain good safety awareness and housekeeping practices.

Required Skills and qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Good communication and math skills.
  3. Attention to detail and ability to accurately complete paperwork.
  4. One year industry related experience is preferred.
  5. Process Technology degree and/or certificate is a plus.
