What You'll Do 

As the Medical Back Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing general administrative support to clinic and mobile operations.This position reports to the Lead, Virtual Medical Back Office Coordinator. 

The Day to Day 

  • Answer incoming phone calls in a fast paced/high volume environment. 
  • Achieve daily goals consistently as outlined by management. 
  • Listening actively to patients' concerns, understanding their needs, and provide accurate information. 
  • Perform registration and insurance verification/updates for patient visits. 
  • Tracks member consents of enrolled and engaged members. 
  • Conductsoutreach to established members utilizing ad hoc lists, no show and canceled reports and/or assigned panel lists.  
  • Obtains medical records, processes care plan and visit summaries, processes and mail membereducational materials.  
  • Completes ongoing training to further skills anddevelopment.  
  • Ensures all member engagements aredocumented accurately. 
  • Assist with special projects outside of normal scope of responsibility when necessary. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • 2+ years combined of related education, experience, or certification. 
  • Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms. 
  • Ability to travel and be on-site to meet business needs.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience using electronic medical records. 
  • Bilingual Spanish-speaker. 
  • Excellent Data Entry skills 
  • Experienced in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.). 
  • Demonstrates excellent customer service skills. 
  • Works collaboratively with other team members. 
  • Strong ability to demonstrate empathy, build relationships and discover patients' needs. 
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills to ensure information continuity. 

*In office expectation of 3-4 days per week

Hourly Range: $22.12 - $25.00
