Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the discipline of Animal Science with possible courses in Intro to Animal Science, Animals & Society, Professional Career Skills, Computers in Agriculture and Intro to Professional Leadership. Contributes to our growing graduate and undergraduate programs. Nine month appointment with the opportunity for summer employment available.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Master's degree of Science in Animal Science, or closely related field, from an accredited University. Evidence of actual or potential success in university teaching. ABD candidates will be considered.
Experience Required for the Position
Documented experience and ability to teach college level courses in Animal Science. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Other Requirements for the Position
Position will begin September 01, 2026. This is 100% teaching with service activities required for promotion and merit pay increases.
