Description:

Trailer Mechanic Service Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled Trailer Mechanic/Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site maintenance and repair services for our customers' trailers at their facilities. The successful candidate will be able to diagnose and repair a wide range of mechanical and electrical issues, as well as perform routine maintenance tasks. You will work closely with our customers to ensure their trailers are in top condition and ready for use at all times. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and customer service skills. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a vocational or technical program in trailer maintenance and repair
  • At least 1 year of experience in trailer maintenance and repair
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic diesel truck knowledge
  • MUST HAVE YOUR OWN BASIC TOOLS


Responsibilities:

  • Perform on-site maintenance and repair services for customers' trailers
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used

Skills:

As a Mobile Service Trailer Technician, you will use your strong mechanical and electrical skills to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues. You will use your attention to detail to maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in this role. Finally, your willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques will help you stay ahead of the curve in this fast-paced industry.

  • Must have clean MVR, Drug Test, pass DOT physical.
