Maxey Trailer Sales and Service is a trusted provider of high-quality utility trailers, serving customers across Northern Colorado. We take pride in offering excellent products and personalized service to help customers find the right trailer for their needs. We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team and drive growth at our Fort Collins location.


Position Overview: The Trailer Sales Representative will greet and assist customers, demonstrate product knowledge, and guide buyers through the selection and purchasing process. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to ensure customers have an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist walk-in customers in selecting trailers that fit their needs

Build relationships with customers and provide expert product knowledge

Prepare accurate quotes, sales documents, and financing paperwork

Maintain showroom and outdoor trailer display in clean, organized condition

Track inventory, coordinate with vendors, and ensure trailers are properly displayed

Meet or exceed monthly sales goals

Provide post-sale customer support and maintain ongoing relationships

Collaborate with other departments for trailer preparation and delivery

Requirements

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales, preferably in automotive, RV, equipment, or similar industries

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Meet State of Colorado requirements for licensed Motor Vehicle Sales License

Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn trailer specifications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems)

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required
